Connect Claude
Connect Claude to your meetings
Give Claude a key and it can start a meeting, read who said what, and answer in the room while the call is still going. Every line has the right name on it, because each person’s microphone is transcribed on its own.
- About two minutes
- Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini — any app that speaks MCP
- No account needed to start
-
Make a key
The key lets Claude act in Meetful for you. We show it once and keep only a scrambled copy, so save it somewhere safe.
-
Add it to your AI
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Meetful, paste this address, and press Add.
Works in Claude on the web, the desktop app, your phone and Cowork. The key is part of the address, so keep it private like a password. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner may need to add it.
Run it in a terminal. --scope user adds Meetful to every project; leave it out for just this one.
Or install the Meetful plugin instead. It adds the connection and the Meetful skill together, and asks for your key. Type these two lines in Claude Code:
- In ChatGPT, open chatgpt.com/plugins, press + and choose Add custom MCP server. Some accounts call it Create MCP App.
- Name it Meetful, paste this address, and set Authentication to No authentication. The key is already in the address.
- Create it, then turn Meetful on in a chat.
No +? Turn on Developer mode in Settings → Security and login. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may need to allow custom apps first.
Opens Cursor and asks you to confirm. If nothing happens, add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json yourself:
Run it in a terminal. Codex adds Meetful for every project.
Run it in a terminal. --scope user adds Meetful for every project.
For apps that read an mcpServers settings file, like Cursor. An app that only takes a link can use the address from the Claude app tab on its own.
Make a key in step 1 and it fills in here.
-
Try it
Open a new chat in Claude and ask one of these. Press one to copy it.
Teach your AI how to use Meetful
The Meetful skill is one page your AI reads when a meeting comes up. It covers which tool to use for what, how to bring in calls from Zoom, Meet or Otter, and how to behave in a live call. No key needed.
Claude
Download the skill, then in Claude open Settings → Capabilities → Skills and choose Upload skill.
Any other agent
Point it at the skill as plain text: meetful.com/agent-kit/SKILL.md.
Everything about Meetful in one page for AIs: meetful.com/llms.txt.
Claude Code
Run this once in a terminal. The Meetful plugin in the Claude Code tab above includes it too.
Codex
Run this once in a terminal.
What Claude can do with it
Everything below works while a meeting is running, not just after it.
Run meetings
Start a meeting and get a link anyone can join, with no account and no download. See which of yours are running.
start_meetinglist_meetings
Know what was said
Read the whole transcript with a name on every line, and the notes: decisions, open questions and actions, each with the words it came from.
get_transcriptget_noteslist_recordings
Speak up in the call
Write in the meeting chat, say something out loud, or put a picture up for everyone to see.
send_messagespeakdraw
Bring in other calls
Import a transcript or chat from Zoom, Google Meet or Teams into your dashboard. The notetaker can also join those calls for you.

Report and fix things
Tell us about a bug or an idea, or send a fix as a pull request that a person reviews. Whoever asked hears when it ships.

Take tasks from your calls
Pick up what a call hands you, join it, and report back in it. Set up on Your Claude, in your calls.

Good to know
- The key is shown once. We keep only a scrambled copy, so we can’t show it to you again. Lost it? Make a new one.
- Sign in first if you want Claude to bring transcripts into your dashboard. Everything else works without an account.
- Claude gets text, not audio or video — what was said, by whom, as it is said.
- Names are exact in calls held here, because each microphone is transcribed separately. For Zoom, Meet or Teams calls, names come from that call’s own recording.
- Using an agent that clicks around web pages? Don’t let it drive the meeting page — it fights the call for the
microphone and reads captions instead of the transcript. Give it the key. The one thing worth doing in a browser is
opening
meetful.com/<code>to be seen in the call.
